The difference is in the details

Only a small minority of organisations have a homogeneous application landscape from one IT provider. This makes it important for a GDPdU-compliant archive to cover all IT systems in which tax-relevant data are produced. Archive solutions on the market that focus exclusively on the ERP system are therefore not sufficient. It makes no sense for the different originator systems to build up separate archives, since this complicates preparations for tax audits unnecessarily and organisations incur additional costs in assembling the data. In addition, a standardised electronic archive makes accounting more effective and economical, especially when it replaces paper archiving. The investment will pay for itself in just a few years.

The complete GDPdU solution from SER and AUDICON gives organisations a strategic advantage. The verification of exported tax-relevant data before the digital tax audit uncovers any discrepancies early on. The analysis tool’s precise selection options make it possible to restrict precisely the dataset to which the auditor has access. This feature can also be used for the purpose of data protection, e.g. in relation to private emails, employees’ account information, etc. Unlike in the past, organisations obtain transparency concerning which data and analyses the auditor was particularly interested in, since all analysis steps are documented. The simulation of company audits, payroll tax audits and special VAT audits makes it possible to verify all relevant check fields thoroughly. This means that errors in the tax-relevant data can be identified and corrected before an external audit.
