SER’s 20-year history – tradition with a future
SER is more than 23 years old and independent – quite a rare celebration in the world of IT. Above all, SER’s 20 years represent two decades of expertise in software development and project implementation. In this time, SER has become, as a manufacturer and supplier, the largest German systems provider for integrated Enterprise Content Management (iECM) solutions.
We are proud of the fact that, as a pioneer of electronic archiving in the German-speaking world, we have been able to play a formative role in the development and establishment of our market segment. Over the past 20 years we have influenced and pushed forwards the evolution of electronic archiving and document management through workflow to integrated Enterprise Content Management through our own software solutions.
We have retained our autonomy and independence during times of consolidation, and for a good reason: today, without being influenced by third parties, we are taking decisions based on the needs and requirements of the market and not on the interests of investors.
