Associative search

In an associative search, DOXiSbrainware can read the content of texts, understand it and find content matches within documents. Instead of having to reduce the topic you are looking for to a few terms, you can formulate a search query freely or use a sample text passage.

In addition to the information on one’s own workstation, associative searches offer access to datasets in networks, in (email) databases, on the Internet, in the intranet and in DOXiS Archive. URLs of web pages can also be included in the search.

Using associative searches, everyone can find the information they are looking for, even if they did not know the information existed beforehand. Documents with matching content are displayed in a hit list ordered according to the level of match. They can be opened in the original application or displayed in a program-independent viewer.

The viewer used by DOXiS works independently of the original software and can display more than 200 different file formats. This means that it is possible to view archived documents even if the original applications used to create them are no longer in use.
