Assign emails to the correct context automatically with Intelligent Context Control

With the rapid growth of electronic communications, emails are becoming increasingly important in business-relevant contexts.

Today, state-of-the-art email management has to offer more than just email archiving. The focus is increasingly on workflow-oriented aspects, particularly in view of the increasing legal and regulatory requirements (compliance). The more accurately a new email can be assigned to the correct business context, the more efficiently, appropriately and promptly it can be processed within the relevant context. DOXiS Intelligent Context Control (ICC) enhances email management by adding methods for precise context identification. This is done largely automatically, is integrated in the work station and controlled via ‘context templates’. Once emails have been assigned they are always available in the right context – whether within the email system, within workflow processing or via an archive search.

The system determines the context based both on the user’s personal information (e.g. past favourites) and comparisons with master data on linked back-end systems. Via the DOXiS iECM Suite, ICC integrates both ECM functions and dedicated functions of the relevant ERP and CRM systems.
