DOXiS connectors & interfaces

The DOXiS iECM Suite is based on a modern multi-layer and component-oriented architecture. It has numerous connectors for integration with other applications.

Some examples:

  • DOXiS-LDAP connector for synchronisation of user and organisational management of an LDAP-enabled directory service.
  • DOXiS-SAP connectors (certified) for SAP Archive-Link/SAP http-ContentServer and SAP Document-Finder – can support all SAP archive interfaces and cover all archiving scenarios in the SAP environment.
  • DOXiS E-Mail Archiving with connectors to MS Exchange and Lotus Notes.
  • DOXiS TaxArchiver for assessability of tax-relevant data over a long period in accordance with GDPdU (regulations for data access and auditability of digital documents).
  • DOXiS Frameware: the whole DOXiS iECM Suite can be integrated with other IT systems via an open, object-oriented programming interface in COM, Java and XML. Likewise, individual specialist applications can simply be created on this basis. Application development is simplified by additional component libraries.

DOXiS Frameware & Co. - the 4-stage SER integration strategy

To make integration into the existing IT landscape as easy as possible, SER has a four-stage strategy:

  1. Object-oriented frameworks in COM and Java package all the services and are available as open programming interfaces (API). In this way individual applications can be developed easily on the basis of the server components as well as server-side integrations. The interfaces provide optimal client/server communication and they can also be used as the basis for using WebServices/SOAP.
  2. Pre-defined connectors provide “plug & play” integration with particular IT systems (in particular ERP, EMail and LDAP)
  3. Re-usable component libraries (COM & ActiveX) simplify development of individual applications.
  4. Integrated scripting engines allow easy customisation of standard DOXiS clients. These customisation options are also used by SER to develop pre-configured solutions.
